——

Aurora is symbolic of new beginnings, hope and the light of day. This pieces resembles exactly that.

All ceramic pieces are hand built in Los Angeles by Natalia Konopka. Each piece goes through an unpredictable process of trial and error and takes between 5 and 6 weeks to complete.

The second kiln firing causes a remarkable change in the clay. It completes the transformation of clay from a soft, fragile substance to one that is rock-hard and impervious to water and time. As a result, every piece in this collection creates magical effects when illuminated.
